Hello, and welcome to my digital portfolio!
My name is Jennifer L. Simpson.
Welcome!
I have organized this site to reflect six major areas of my background: teaching, faculty development, research interests, media projects, and recommendations. Each section has items (artifacts) that showcase my expertise and development in these areas, as well as reflective commentary.
Teaching is a passion of mine that I want to continue to grow in. Throughout the years of teaching my presentation skills and lessons have evolved. As my students continue to change, I hope to continue to evolve my skills in order to meet the needs of my students. I love teaching at the First-Year Seminar Program because it helps first year college students adjust to academia. My personal/professional goal is to obtain a PhD in the Curriculum and Instruction program so that I can use it to advance my career in the First Year Seminar Program at TAMU-CC while researching ways to implement this program in other universities.
